SIFF continues rolling along this week. Last week we had reviews of Bad Black, Finding Kukan, Chronicles of Hari, Sami Blood, Knife in the Clear Water, and Cook Up a Storm, and capsules on Dawson City: Frozen Time, My Journey through French Cinema, The Unknown Girl, By the Time it Gets Dark, and Manifesto. Films we’re looking forward to in the next week include: God of War, Girl Without Hands, The Little Hours, Godspeed, Pendular, Person to Person, Napping Princess, and two films I saw and liked at Vancouver last fall: Ken Loach’s I, Daniel Blake, and João Pedro Rodrigues’s The Ornithologist,
